PayPal and Alphabet shares surged after announcing a multi-year collaboration to integrate AI-driven commerce solutions. The deal will see PayPal leverage Google's artificial intelligence to enhance shopping experiences while expanding its payment services across Google's ecosystem.

"This partnership redefines digital commerce at global scale," said PayPal CEO Alex Chriss. The agreement positions PayPal as a primary payment provider for Google Cloud, Google Ads, and Google Play services.
